Surrender Poem
OK, Guardians, I’m on my knees
Again. It’s time for another molting,
another turn in a new chyrsalis,
as if the last two hundred weren’t
enough. Yet again, the turning involves
workplace gone awry, difficult. Oh, please
let me finally learn whatever lesson
you have in store for this God.
The Watery One tells me this IS
the way of wholeness. Not exactly “Leave
now, go hence!” But he informs me
(as do the Airy and Fiery Companions
escorting me along this divine path)
that it blocks and stifles this Frostwolf
working. Pain brings me low. Time
again to transform in yet another rite
of poem writing, building the sterling
character of Divine Being I know myself
to be…
Seasonal Haiku
Christmas deflation.
PFFFFFFFT … goes my life energy
from center outward.
